My point was it could have been headed to the wrecker and was saved from that fate. I would also say that someone building a lifted short wheelbase 4wd, likely isn’t interested in an Escalade.

I guess you have to be confusing what I said and the original post, because the one by me has certainly not had any mechanical repairs or useful upgrades . Someone got a cheap stock-ride-height SUV and pep-boys chromed the hell out of it. Again, there are plenty of less-interesting vehicles they could have ruined.
